I finished Survivors yesterday. I had almost forgotten how amazing that show is. If you haven't seen it already you should give it a try.

Hm, doesn't sound all that bad, and only 12 episodes seems manageable even for someone who has no interest in TV series at the moment. I suppose I simply watched too many series over the last few years, being mostly a film lover anyway. And it's sci-fi, so I'll surely check it out.

Just give it a try. I think it does really well with character development. It is, however, not sci-fi or at the most in the very broadest sense.

I caught an episode of that show once & could never find it again! Yippee!!! Now I can locate it!
