Wow! This is brilliant! Very clever. You had me so sad when talking about her mom, and then smiling like crazy later when she's talking about the stupid boys and wanting to marry Major Sheppard (oh sweetie, wouldn't we all like to!)

A really different story, so unusual from anything I've read.

I loved how you got into the head of a nameless child - really well done.

That was wonderful. It was so full of the innocence of childhood, but then there was the touch of reality that living in a danger zone brings. Love this!!!!
