I really liked this. This is such a unique look at something that I haven't seen done even all that often, but this is by far the most creative way I've ever seen it written. Everything tied in together so perfectly, too-- this is really a great piece of writing. I would love to add it to my 'memories'. I'll enjoy looking back on this later, too! Thanks so much for sharing.
gah! too much praise! i really just, well, sorta thought this way would be simple. and, to be honest, i tend to write a sort of 'spoken word' style anyhow... i think i was partly being lazy when i first started this, even though i picked up and crunched on it afterwards... but, oh man, thank you for the kind words. i really dont know what to say. i'm just thrilled that you enjoyed it!
Oooh, awesome! If I've ever told you that something else was the best thing you've ever written, then whatever it was has now been superseded by this. Very well done! I've often wondered just how good an education Duo or Trowa got. I assume Heero would have been educated by Dr. J, but considering their childhoods, Duo and Trowa could easily have slipped through the cracks. This was a great exploration of that possibility. So glad you posted this! And yayz for another submission to this month's challenge! *gives you Scooby snacks*
Thanks muchly for your submission, Masa! Interesting phobia - good choice to have Maxwell sit down and write about it. (^-^)[_]3 It seems E beat me to mentioning Duo's education may have come a few years too late, but I'd like to underline the thought anyway. Made him a functional-illiterate myself once, but to actually make him afraid of grandiloquent vocabulary - yes. YES. \(^O^)/ Well done!
