hehe... you're too kind. honestly, i wanted so badly to go into detail about the technology (outside of the notes), but i swore to myself that the actual fic would be no more than 1000 words (i'd aimed for 500... see how that turned out...)

i figured gum capsules would be sorta like the 'dinner in a pill' that's popular in old sci-fi. except it just expands to be chewing gum...

I imagined something about the size of a Tic-Tac that turned into a full sized 'stick' of gum.
