I'm trying to be something like coherent here, but this fills me with so much YAY I can barely string my sentences together without dissolving into gibberish.
I love the drawing. No, let me put it this way - I LOVELOVELOVE everything about that drawing, from the description you give of the paper (there's just something about paper) and the contents (OMGSQUEE!), to all the thoughts it provokes in Relena (her need/wish to know about her birth parents and her inability to, and the Darlians "getting in the way" to make it even more difficult) and the mental image of a little Peacecraft bratty bit drawing it - tongue possibly sticking from the corner of the mouth, and with a swarm of broken crayons scattered all around. *melt-meltidy-melts*
And they meet at the grave of PAGAN! :D *GLOMPS YOU TO DEATH* Of course it would be Pagan who brings it all together! They would consider him family, and he's been there through all of it... (By the way, Pagan was James Bond in a previous life, yes/yes

Hee, no problemo about the late reply! What's important here is that you actually liked it!!! Yaaaay! *dances*
I thought it wouldn't meet what you really liked as a gift..I mean, it doesn't have enough dark elements and that's major failure, considering that that is what this comm is all about. *sighs* I'm so relieved that you can even consider it 'awesome'. It's my first Relena fic actually so I apologize if ever you see something in her that isn't Relena at all. :)
Thank you again for liking it and hurray for James 'Pagan' Bond! Wohahah!!
Haha, don't worry about it not being dark enough! This is perfect just the way it is. I actually don't really consider myself to be specifically a dark!fic writer or reader. If Terra hadn't lured me here with this exchange I probably would never have joined the comm. ^^;; I'm totally fine with there being only a thin layer of darkness! ^_

Whoa...thanks. Learning that you really liked this just made my day (ooh, despite the nonstop rain!).
Hee, there are several times that I write really dark but I prefer to write lighter themes. Glad to have someone else here who's got a thin layer of darkness! *gives you a high five*
Yaay, my Relena's totally IC! Heehee, I think I'm feeling so nervous whenever I write a character for the first time. I've been a fan of GW ever since I can remember but I just started writing fics only last year. I loved reading family fics (especially Quatre-centric ones) and maybe that's the reason why I picked this gift request from the list, ya know, to try if I can write my own. :)
Thank you for liking this, you kinda inspired me to do more Relena-centric fics.
Another sweet piece! I love the ending and the motif of "two truths" that run through this. That Zechs and Relena should be connected in adulthood by the passing of someone who was there for both of them in youth. Fantastic!
Thanks so much! And I'm so glad that omnicat isn't into too much darkness. Being my first Relena-centric fic, I thought of working hard to keep her in character first (which I thought I failed)..and as a result there isn't too much dark elements involved. I'm also relieved that there's no 'rejection' rules here, because if there are then this would've gone to the trash bin. :)
