Thanks! I think this might be my favorite of the oneshots I've written. Haha, it looks like I'm still ensnared by the 4xD bug. ^^

Ooooh, I agree that this is probably the most brilliant thing you've written, dude, and that's saying something. I feel so sorry for both of them, but I'd like to think the ending is really the beginning. It's gorgeously well-written, Terra! Truly sounds to me like how they'd both be feeling after the war. Awesometastic!

Thank you! The ending is indeed the beginning. Such is the way of a war and peace that last forever. This was written in response to someone who told me that she didn't understand why Quatre would let Dorothy treat him with disrespect in The Forever War.

I wanted to write this to show her that we only got Quatre's side of the story; that the way he interprets her actions is subject to his own prejudices and biases and is therefore unreliable. Glad you liked it. Welcome back and thanks for reading!
