Whhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa! This should be titled: Catherine Bloom 101. And the course description would follow thusly: Everything and anything you need to know behind the mentality and actions of one Catherine Bloom, covering her past, how it affects her current actions, and understanding her basic being complete with her needs and wants.

Or something to that effect. I love it when writers make the characters of the series make more sense. I never really understood why Catherine was so attached to the circus, to Trowa, but this piece of fiction makes it clear. Wonderful blend of flashback and explanation, followed by example. Beautiful writing. *round of applause*

That was really well done. I can easily see Cathy growing up just that way. I can't imagine how traumatic it must have been to have had the losses she did so early.

I honestly never could guess why Catherine accepted Trowa so easily in the series - it seemed too easy for me, even though he was her partner for a pretty dangerous act. But this right here - this made all the pieces come together, including why Trowa went back in the end. You brought the circus to life for me, because it was always just a backdrop in the series. Well done!
