This... is most certainly unexpected. [The device, as Juri tentatively had set it to record her voice, now picks up on a soft laugh, that melts away into silence. Only for a moment, though, before she begins again--humming smooth and elegant, like music.] Hmm

Whether or not you want to believe any of this, death isn't taken into much consideration in this place.

Hmm. But it isn't the case for all, is that correct? Or is the dead as common as the living?

[a faint shrug colors his voice. Explaining the situation and nature of Ukiyo to new arrivals isn't exactly a favorite past time of his, regardless to how he's been in the city now for almost six months. Especially when it comes to information surrounding the tattoo and its curse.]
It depends on what you can remember being told by the servants and head of your house, upon waking, and what you want to know first.

Information about your house will depend on where you're located and in what district. The only solid fact that we all have in common is we were tricked into making a wish, thus signing a contract. There's no telling how much or how little of what we were told about those matters are true, only that if you want to get by with as little problems as possible, you have to work for it. The position as an entertainer seems to be the primary occupation given to those displaced here, but other positions do exist and have been filled.
Additionally, names and statuses mean nothing to these people, no matter how high up a person was in their home world.

In truth, it's almost more of a hassle when within headquarter walls, with the number of other hunters who always seem so wary of him. Not that he can blame them for it.]
Regardless, there are a good variety of individuals here, some more helpful than others. If you have questions later on and don't want to turn to your house-owner or servants, all of us brought here can be reached through the fansuwoth network.
