For costume - can that be in character for a role?

i.e. Jensen in character as Dean Winchester

For the category icons - is that what they've said their favorite role is or what our favorite of their roles are?

Costume shouldn't be contemporary every-day clothing, basically. So Jensen as Dean wouldn't work, no.

All icons must be from the same role, but it's your favourite role of theirs! Not all celebrities are that vocal on the subject. ;)

I want to say no, but if you REALLY can't find any pictures of him and food (he doesn't necessarily have to be eating it) and you can't shop in anything, I'll let it slide.
