The movie was a great watch. Absolutely spectacular visuals from start to end, fanstastic sound effects and music, good story, lots of blood and gore as expected from a war movie and most of all... all those rippling muscled naked to near naked bodies. However the Persian army in real life was not ( ...not exactly a give away but just in case... )

You could be right but being the main producer of the movie and creater of the graphic novel, I'm sure he's got enough say to have the Persians be represented as human being rather than hideous monsters. If Steven Spielberg produced it then I won't single Frank out. :)

Errrr.... Considering 300 the comic came out in 1998, and that the movie remained pretty faithful to the comic, unless you're saying Frank Miller can see the future, I really don't see why any respect should be lost for Miller... And I certainly don't think this is US propaganda.
