Last night, for the first time in nearly half a year a close friend of mine, whom I've been keeping in touch with on the phone and sms quite a bit nowadays, invited me for dinner. Of course being Indian ie the non foodie race, she asked me to choose the restaurant. I suggested going somewhere close to Ang Mo Kio and ended up deciding on Thomson.

Yes I hear the food IS good. Maybe that's why it's still surviving... cos Sporeans love to eat! And if it's cheap, it doesn't matter if the service is bad. No wonder there were not 1 non-local in there.

I'll be honest with you. It was the bad publicity which made me remember this restaurant in the first place. Anyway, it only makes it into my blacklist!
