You probably scratched your cornea, either from the bug itself, or from the ordeal of getting it out. The cornea has the most concentrated amount of nerve ending anywhere in our body, so a microscopic scratch can be pretty damn painful. The top layer of the cornea totally regenerates itself in 24-48 hours though. You should feel a lot better by tomorrow. If you don't, or it's actually worse, then I'd go see someone. For now just try to use lots of lubrication drops (artificial tears - not a visine "red out" drop). You can also use a cold rag on your closed eyes, if it feels good to you. A couple advil might help too.
I totally forgot about you being an eye doctor! Thanks. I am going to keep an eye on it. I do have a question though, have you ever seen a bee sting on an eye? Is it possible? I guess I will hold out and see if it does clear up in the next day or two. The thing bugging my the most is all the crusties I'm dealing with.
Thanks! I finally am at a point in my life where I am a lot more comfortable with them but its something I have wanted to do for a long time. I have the opportunity to have some actual cleavage and side boob and I'm going to take it.
My mother had one not too long ago and she's absolutely ecstatic about the results. She was an odd cup/band size before and now I think she just feels proportionate.
