Goodbye Gurren Lagann, Hello Community

Oct 22, 2007 00:05

Hey there, I'm Tommy, I just want to introduce myself. I just finished Gurren Lagann a few seconds ago, and I am in full on tears; an anime has never made me cry before. That was a wonderful anime, one of the best I've ever seen.

I was wondering what did you all think of the series and it's ending?

The Ending? It was fitting to the series as a whole. Not the epilogue part, but the ending, before the end song. To continuously stay true to your own convictions, to never waver, to never place your own ideals upon another and to throw reason to wind. Simon was essentially a god at the end of the series. He had the same level of power as Lord Genome had, in fact his power was greater then Lord Genome. Gimmy was right in his words, if Simon wanted to, he could've revived Nia, he could've revived Kittan and he sure as hell could've brought back Kamina ( ... )
