Being with the boss has made my life so much fun!

Before him I was kind of awkward...lonely, but Boss taught me how to perform, taught me the joys of friendship and teamwork!

Well, at the same time, they can make us do things we can't do normally. Like evolve faster. And well, they didn't really ask to come here, either...

Yggdrasil if he really is a god coulda just let us evolve whenever. We don't need them. Plenty of Digimon are their own tamers and evolve just fine.

Yggdrasil is a god, yes, but... well, we don't really understand him. I never really bought into the theology crap, and I wonder if he could have saved Draco Island from attack, but... he either can't do everything, or has SOME reasons for why he does what he does...

I can agree with that. Kallen, though, she's been a soldier since before I knew her... and she's still a kid in some ways.
