“No- hey, calm down first, would you? Listen, it’s just like... like...,” Ohno was racking his brain to explain everything to Nino, “Like this; I love painting, you know I do. I love it so much. But in the same time, I also love fishing. So much too.”
Nino and Ohno sat side by side, eyes following Sho who changed his clothes mindlessly in front of them in frantic yet practiced movement. Sho buttoned his sleek vest and grabbed his bag then stormed outside the greenroom with a flash of smile.
“Ja, see you tomorrow, guys. I’m running late for Zero!”
Nino waved.
Ohno chuckled to the already closed door, “Sho chan is busy as always, ne?”
“Un..,” Nino responded, his concentration was already back to his game.
“So busy yet so composed. So.. focused,” Ohno curled a fond smile, “I love him.”
Nino was stunned by his lover’s words. His mind went in a complete pause for few seconds, resulting in game over in his DS. When he felt Ohno’s lips pecked his cheek before resting his head on Nino’s lap, Nino convinced himself that he must have misheard all of it.
“I love you, Kazu,” Ohno nuzzled his nose to Nino’s neck.
Yeap. Misheard. Definitely.
*******
Nino paced back and forth in their room. Ohno wasn’t home yet and he’s restless about it. It’s the fourth time in one week that Ohno didn’t come home straight from his work. They had different schedule and it made everything worse.
“Yeah, Kazu?” finally Ohno picked the phone up.
“Where are you? It’s 3 AM, Oh chan. Please don’t tell me you’re doing something that you will regret in the future again. That old man Kitagawa won’t let you escape so easily again, you know that!” Nino blurted out like a worried mother. Or rather, worried wife.
“Don’t worry, I’m uhh.. I’m with Sho chan. We’re just chilling in the usual bar. He needs to loosen his tensed mind a bit,” Ohno said lightly.
“Oh..,” Nino’s steps stopped, “well.. be careful on your way home.”
“Un.. sleep well, Kazu,” Ohno said, “I love you.”
Nino didn’t know what his feeling was. Was it relief that his lover was with their best friend and not with some random chicks? Was it worry because it’s the fourth time that his Ohno going out with Sho, just the two of them? He didn’t know.
Well, maybe they just need time to discuss about Jun and Aiba’s heat lately.
*******
Nino furrowed his brows when he saw the green room’s door was slightly opened, he was sure that he’s going to be the first to arrive.
“I can’t Satoshi. You know my mom wants me to lead normal life once we’re old enough, and I can’t disappoint her. Again. You know that,” Sho’s voice reached Nino’s ears and Nino froze. He stopped his movement right in front of the door, hand was hovering on the handle.
“But you graduated. That’s enough, right?” it’s Ohno. Nino couldn’t mistake the smooth voice with any other voice.
“No, it’s not enough,” Sho’s voice was soft but fierce at the same time. Nino could catch some notion of gentleness there. “Come on, Satoshi. Be logical. This.. this whole thing.. you and me.. it’s all impossible. Besides, there’s Nino. You love him, right?”
Nino’s heart skipped a beat. Deep down he’s afraid of the answer.
“Yes, I do. I love him so much. I thought I can’t love anyone but him,” Ohno answered without hesitation and Nino was relieved by that. But then, Ohno continued, “But I lo-”
“Good morning!” Nino barged in. He decided that he’s too afraid to listen the rest of Ohno’s words. He decided that it’s better to not hear anything at all.
The two older men looked shocked for a split second, Sho moved slightly away from Ohno. Obviously, they were sitting so close to each other. Too close for Nino’s comfort in knowing that.
“Good morning, Nino,” Sho smiled like nothing happened. He stood up, “I think it’s better to leave you guys alone, eh? It’s too early for me to witness your lovey dovey couple things.”
“Wait, Sho! I haven’t finished yet,” Ohno grabbed Sho’s wrist.
Sho chuckled groggily, “Hey, Nino’s here. Don’t you want to do morning cuddle or something?”
“No, Sho. Listen, I lo-”
“Satoshi!” Sho snapped before Ohno could spit all of it. He stepped towards Ohno and gave out his fiercest glare, “Don’t you dare.”
Nino just stood there, witnessed everything. He felt like a figurant or a mere passerby.
Sho turned on his heels and patted Nino’s shoulder while walking to the door, “Don’t worry, we’re just discussing about our next concert and he’s being stupid.”
Sho sounded like he wanted to convince Nino.
But it’s too late, Nino couldn’t be convinced anymore.
*******
Nino had closed his eyes to all the weird things for several months. He did that for his own sake, for Ohno’s sake, for their relationship’s sake. Ohno loves him and cares for him, and he thought all of it was enough to cover all the strange behavior Ohno did.
Actually, it’s getting too painful for Nino to be the only one who pretend that there’s nothing happened in their relationship while Ohno didn’t even try to cover his affection to Sho. Ohno praised Sho, he flirted with Sho, he draped himself to Sho, and even said words of love towards Sho in front of Nino’s eyes like there’s nothing wrong with it.
It was more agitating that no one seemed to bat an eye on Ohno’s attitude. It’s like everyone turned blind. Like only Nino could see that something was completely wrong.
No, it’s not like Ohno dumped Nino or something. Ohno still showered him with enough love every day, still called him with full of affection, still kissed him like in their first date, and still looked at him like he’s the most beautiful person in the world. But something was wrong and Nino couldn’t pretend that he didn’t know it anymore.
Especially when one day, Ohno came home with teenager-in-love smile and a funny way to walk. He looked like he’s just got fucked for the first time and his ass was sore as hell. And Nino knew for certain that it was not his doing, because in their relationship Ohno always tops. Always.
“Tadaima.”
“Okaeri. Where have you been?”
“Sho’s,” Ohno answered with a blush and he practically flew to their room.
It’s just for a split second, but Nino saw it. He saw it clearly, and he decided that he couldn’t take it anymore.
He stomped towards their bedroom and slammed the door hard enough to wake the dead. He took his bag and packed some of his clothes.
Ohno came in to the room and startled when he saw Nino already had half of his clothes packed, “Eh? W-why?”
Nino didn’t answer.
Shit, you should know why, you jerk.
“Hey, hey, Kazu. What’s wrong?” Ohno reached Nino’s wrist and pulled it to make Nino face him.
Nino stared to Ohno’s eyes with anger and pain. As much as he hate it, he could feel a tear in the corner of his reddened eye. He exploded. The whole thing added up to an uncontrollable rage.
“What’s wrong?! What’s wrong, you asked?! I should be the one asking you that!”
He released his wrist from Ohno’s hand and pulled the neck of Ohno’s shirt.
“This! This is wrong, Oh chan! You think I don’t know about you and Sho chan, hah?! HAH?! I’m not blind!”
Ohno planned to deny it like Sho told him to, but then he knew it won’t result in anything good, “I love Sho chan. I even told you and hinted about it to you but it seems that you didn’t want to accept it.”
Nino released his grip on Ohno’s shirt. He pushed Ohno away from him and threw a disgusted look.
“How could you?!”
“I love him. It’s just happened. And he loves me too, you know.”
Nino couldn’t believe his ears. He was angry. He was hurt. He knew all about that already, but hearing it from his lover’s own mouth was just a whole new dimension of pain.
“Then, what?! Your ‘I love you’s for me were all just a mere lie?!” Nino felt tears pooled in his eyes, but he held it back. He didn’t want to cry - not in front his cheating boyfriend.
“No! No! I love you, I really do! But it just happens that I love Sho chan too. And I think it’s normal, right?”
“Normal?!” Nino was so close from murdering Ohno with any nearby object, his body was trembling so hard to keep that from happening, “Are you insane?! IT’S NOT NORMAL AT ALL, OH CHAN!”
“No- hey, calm down first, would you? Listen, it’s just like... like...,” Ohno was racking his brain to explain everything to Nino, “Like this; I love painting, you know I do. I love it so much. But in the same time, I also love fishing. So much too.”
“What?! Now you’re comparing me with some disgusting tuna?!” it’s getting too much for Nino.
“No, actually you’re more like the painting for me. I need to be creative when I’m with you. I need to be daring. It’s a great adventure by itself. And, Kazu, I love that. I love every second I spent with you. I do!” Ohno grabbed both of Nino’s shoulder and stared him right in the eyes, “While Sho chan.. Sho chan is more like fishing to me. I don’t need to do anything when I’m with him. I don’t even need to talk. It’s soothing, it’s calm. And I love that. Too.”
Nino stared back to Ohno’s eyes with bloodshot eyes. He couldn’t understand Ohno’s logic. Everything was just too ridiculous for him to digest. He stared and stared, seeing his five years of sweet relationship crumbling down into ashes. A tear managed to escape.
Ohno wrapped his hands around Nino’s shoulder and stroked the smaller body, “Don’t cry, Kazu. Come on. Smile, would you? You know how I love your smile.”
The wound in Nino’s heart was too big for him to endure this any longer. Ohno’s sweet words sounded like trash to him. All of it felt empty and fake. So he just stepped back, wiped his one drop of tear, and put Ohno’s hands away from his shoulders.
“I’ll send my manager to pack my things tomorrow. We’re done, Oh chan.”
With anger and pain blurred his eyes, Nino left the apartment that has been his home for nearly four years.
*******
Sho eyed Nino when the younger leaned in to Ohno, draped himself to their leader, and playfully rested his head on the oldest’ shoulder. Sho followed Nino’s every expression; the smug face, the snarky spell, the wide grin, everything.
Everything was just like usual; typical Ohmiya scene sneaked in their filming in just proper amount of it. But when the five of them escaped from the reach of any camera, everything turned upside down.
Nino obviously refused to talk or even look at Ohno and Sho. He’s giving a silent treatment, the best of it. The green room turned quiet and awkward. Jun and Aiba who kept quarrelling didn’t make it better, in fact it turned everything worse.
“Nino..,” Sho pooled enough guts to call his bandmate.
Nino kept playing with his DS, ignoring Sho.
“Nino, please. Let’s talk about this,” Sho pleaded. He threw a glare to Ohno, signaling that he needed a help. But Ohno just sulked.
“Come on, Ni-”
A loud bang of door interrupted Sho’s words. Jun left them in angry ambiance, Aiba followed closely behind him while screaming like crazy. They were surely in a heated fight. And that was not the first for the relatively new couple.
Sho sighed, but soon he focused back to Nino. He knelt in the side of Nino’s sofa, trying to get a better look on the gamer’s face.
“Nino, listen. I’m so-”
“Shut up!” Nino snapped, “It’s enough to look all friendly and alright in front of audience, okay?! I might puke out of disgust if I have to deal with you guys here too.”
Nino stormed out without even bother to look at Ohno.
Sho slumped to the floor. Desperate.
Ohno came to him, hugging him close with the same degree of desperation.
“What should we do now, Riida?”
*******
Jun looked around the vast house. It was rather empty and the furniture was too recklessly chosen to suit his taste, but it was still a livable house indeed.
He proceeded to venture deeper to the house, searching for the owner. He was just about to make a call when he found Nino sat soullessly in bed with glass in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other.
Jun threw his body next to Nino, “What the hell are you doing in the bed with wine, huh? It will stain your new bed.”
Nino snorted an empty laugh, “Don’t care. No one will protest anyway, this place is mine and mine only.”
Jun turned his head to look at Nino’s face. His best friend was mad and in pain, he knew that for sure, “So, Ohmiya is really over how?”
“Ohmiya, hm? Well... Ohmiya SK the skit duo is still there. Ohno and Nino the Arashi’s fan service specialist is still there too. But Ohno Satoshi and Ninomiya Kazunari the couple in love? Nah, I don’t think so,” Nino poured himself another glass of wine.
“Care to tell me why?” Jun sat next to Nino with concerned face.
Nino gave bitter smile. He snorted, “Does it even matter now?”
“Of course it does. Who knows if we can still fix it.’’
Nino snorted again. Louder. Mocking.
“Said the person whose relationship is about to burn the whole city into ashes.”
Jun frowned. He looked sad. For a moment he remembered the fights he had with Aiba lately.
In an instance, his mood became foul. He took the glass from Nino’s hand and emptied the content to his throat, searching for a little remedy before taking the focus back to Nino, “We’re talking about you now, not me. Now talk.”
Nino who lost his glass to Jun ignored the command and drank the wine straight from the bottle. He didn’t want to talk about it. Actually, just by thinking of all that happened already made his blood crippled. He was mad. So damn mad.
“Come on, Nino. Do you really want to end your long as fuck relationship without even trying to repair it?!”
“And why do I have to be the one to repair all the mess he caused, hah?!”
“At least tell me, what has he done this time? Leaving you to go fishing for too long again? Making another scandal? I really root for your relationship, Nino. I look up to you guys!”
Nino got really annoyed by Jun’s nonstop rants. Really, his days were already bad without his best friend asking a thousand questions to him. He ran out of patience. He exploded. Again.
He threw the empty bottle to the floor and rolled over until he was straddling Jun, making the glass of wine in Jun’s hand slipped and some drops of wine spilled on the bed. His fingers grabbed Jun’s collar tightly. His eyes were emitting the heat of a hell.
“You really want to know what he did, huh?!” he pulled Jun’s collar firmer.
The younger was startled as hell. He couldn’t utter an answer. He just stared at Nino’s eyes with fear in his.
“Then I’ll show you what he did,” Nino hissed. Then he started to harshly bite and suck Jun’s long neck, leaving bright red marks just like the one he saw on Ohno’s neck.
“Ni.. Nino..,” Jun didn’t understand what’s happening, but he knew that it was wrong. And he knew it was even more wrong when he had to gulp down his moan.
“This! He came home from Sho with this! And there’s not even a crease of guilt left in his face, J! NONE!” Nino released Jun’s collar with a push. His anger took over his sanity now, and a bottle of wine really didn’t do him any good either.
“Nino.. calm do-”
“And who knows what else they did, J! They’ve been meeting each other behind me. Who knows what else they did!” Nino’s eyes became redder.
“Maybe this,” he ripped Jun’s shirt off with one strong tug. Buttons flew to every direction. Oh, only God knows the true power that his tiny body possess.
He then slid lower and grabbed Jun’s member from outside the pants, “Or maybe this too.”
Jun didn’t know how to react, he was a bit scared, a bit shocked, a bit alerted, and a bit embarrassed. Embarrassed because he knew well that the one that Nino grabbed was rock hard. He was aroused by Nino’s anger and sudden aggressiveness, and he didn’t really understand why.
Nino was full aware of Jun’s bulge. His sanity went through the window right then, pushed away by his anger and alcohol teamed up.
If he can do that to me, why can’t I?
Nino began to undone Jun’s belt, tugging his jeans hurriedly.
Jun grabbed Nino’s hands to stop him, but his grab was powerless. One hard slap from Nino was enough to sweep his hands out of the way.
Under a minute, Nino managed to free himself and Jun from their pants. He pinned Jun’s wrists with one hand, while his other hand finding lube out of nowhere.
“And I’m sure they did this,” Nino grunted as he dipped two slicked fingers inside Jun’s hole.
Jun screamed. He writhed.
Nino’s eyes were really blinded by rage and bitter pain of getting cruelly betrayed. He pumped himself carelessly until he was fully erected then he shoved himself inside Jun.
“And this! They..,” he thrust deep, “Did..,” he ignored Jun’s scream under him and drove inside Jun again, “This.”
The room was filled with mixture of Jun’s yelp of hurt and moan and the sound of Nino’s balls hitting Jun’s ass repeatedly.
Nino came hard inside Jun after insane thrusts and slumped on top of Jun. He was exhausted.
Jun freed his hand from Nino’s grab and reached for his own member, pumping it hard with loud ecstatic moans escaped from his pretty lips. He came shortly after, making a mess between him and Nino.
When Jun came back from blinding orgasm and calmed down his racing breaths, he felt Nino’s hands grabbed the side of his arms tightly. A warm liquid dropped to his bare shoulder.
“Oh God..,” Nino whispered, obviously different from earlier, “I raped you, didn’t I?”
It was like his sanity and right mind suddenly forced back to his whole being. He processed the whole thing and couldn’t help but break down.
Jun digested the word.
Rape?
“Well.. I..,” he could feel his cheeks heated, “I kind of... enjoyed it so it wasn’t a rape, I suppose.”
He caressed Nino’s back slowly. He took his time digesting everything this time, trying to focus at Nino’s words earlier. And well, a change of topic was surely needed.
“So.. He cheated with Sho kun?”
Nino nodded slowly, “I pretended that I didn’t know it, I intended to let it slip. I thought he was just playing around like a fool. But one day he came home with hickeys and a fucked up ass, and I knew he wasn’t just playing around. He always tops with me, J. He came home all happy after being topped is just....,” Nino lost his words.
“And he didn’t even bother to cover the marks he had on his neck.”
If Nino told him this under a shining sun with his usual bratty attitude, Jun would smack him in his head and told him not to tell lies. But Nino was on top of him. Crying. In his new house. And just went berserk and out of control.
So he had no other option than to believe in Nino’s words. And he also believed that Nino was still very much in love with their leader.
Because if he wasn’t, why did he have to be all mad and crumbling down like the world is about to end?
Nino felt Jun pushed his body away from Jun’s. He averted his gaze, refused to meet Jun’s eyes. He could saw that Jun was staring at him and a look of pity was there. He closed his eyes when Jun wiped his tears.
Nino gasped when Jun ducked down and nibbled his soft neck.
“There, you’re even now.”
Nino startled. He traced his finger on the new marks Jun just left on his body.
“Cry it out,” Jun pulled Nino’s body to his again, brushing his fingers through Nino’s hair.
Nino didn’t respond. Stunned.
“Don’t hold it in anymore. Just.. cry it out for now,” Jun repeated.
With that, Nino really began to crumble down. For the first time since he left Ohno in their apartment, he let himself feel the sadness. He let the pain seeped completely. He let himself wail, he let himself mourn.
“I.. I love him, J,” Nino half screamed to Jun’s shoulder, “I do! I still do! But why?! Why he has to do that to me?! I love him with all my being, really. But why?!”
Jun stroked Nino’s back in soothing way.
“It breaks me to leave him. To act all cold to him. I can’t live without him, but I also can’t live knowing him cheating behind my back,” Nino’s cry became louder.
Jun let Nino cry to his heart content. He just listened, letting Nino pour everything he had.
When Nino started to calm down, the door croaked and both of them were alerted.
“Crap,” Nino cursed.
There, stood in front of the door, was Aiba and Sho. Jaws hung open and eyes widened.
