OH AND BTW. STATE OF PLAY?! Thank you so so much Leslie for linking me to such greatness. I really love Kelly McDonald and her accent. I need to find more things with her in it. And of course James McAvoy was too good. AND John Simm was good to look at face-wise, acting wise, and whatever other way there is. And yay Bill Nighy.
And I really didn't expect it to end like that. I had no idea it was Stephen all along, especially cause they unconvinced you so well from the beginning. It was super good. And it was just such a good mix of really suspenseful moments, and like comedy, and romance, and drama and just everything. FREAKING SUPER.
It was such a worthwhile 6 hours. I'm digging David Yates' style. First in HP and now this!

Yeah seriously! They had us writing Stephen off right at the start... incredible.
Yeah me too! He also directed another Simm project ('Sex Traffic,' which was HAUNTING), and a Nighy/MacDonald one ('Girl in the Cafe,' which I haven't seen yet). Cool stuff.

And yea, they had Girl in the Cafe on this dnwld website, but I was still watching State of Play, and I didn't know how much I would like them playing romantically linked characters...
but once again Les. I thank you so so so much for linking me to tres greatness.
