Tent Rocks State Park, NM

First day out, we drove all the way to Albuquerque, NM. We spent the night in a motel on the north side of the city, and we got up early the next day to drive 45 minutes north to Tent Rocks State Park. Really lovely. Glad to hear about your adventures!

I thought they looked like --Russian onion domes, castles, christmas trees, well and that one is a penis and there's just no getting around it. :-)

So glad you were still able to do significant climbing. Lovely that you're out doing this not a year after hip replacement!

Yeah, I think the trip was helpful to the hip. All the hiking and walking really helped to strengthen it.
