Amazingly, not everything that has happened this week has been bad. I mean, it's never good when two relatives wind up in the hospital at the same time. But Mom's birthday party went well last night, even though dad didn't go. She got to ride in our new vehicle.

Yep, you heard that right. New vehicle. My truck is going on 13 years old, and it's a ( Read more... )

LOL! I always felt bad having Kate in the back. (I tried to sit there but you wouldn't let me!!)

It's an Escape kinda year. Said goodbye to my 10-year old Escape yesterday afternoon and picked up the 2011 new one. Got some things to get used to besides a different color - they took away second gear (come snow, I'll really miss that one), moved the gearshift back down to the console, no grip bar on the driver's side(that's a killer getting in!). But it drives so smooth and.... hee! ::coughs:: I'll wax poetic in my own LJ... :) :)

Pix??????? Please????

And Kate ----please...make sure if Guni drives - grip hard to the passenger side grip bars so she'll worry you're commenting silently on her driving....! :) :D

I don't think Eppie has a family of sleep monsters living in her like your old one on the passenger side. At least, no one has nodded off so far...

In May you'll have to let me know if the sleep monsters hitched a ride over to my new one... If they did, methinks we can't blame it on the SUV anymore, but more on the host's aura... :P :D

I'm so glad to hear you were able to swing the Escape. That does make your lives better having a more fuel efficient, passenger hauling vehicle in your stable.

Eppie! I love it. (Doubtless, Preston would be pleased.)

meganwaters2004 said you were able to transfer the warranty--- that's really, really awesome. What a safety net while you are still making payments.

Congrats on the new vehicle! I'm so glad that worked out for both parties.

Eppie! I do like it, and suspect Preston does too, though, he would make a grunt at best you know. Glad you are happy!

I was very happy about the warranty. And Shelly has been so kind to us with the payments.
