Tree Frog Adventures

I was peed on by a tree frog this afternoon. This is mainly notable because it was an unusual occurrence, not because it was especially unpleasant.  Our yard is thick with tree frogs, and one of the poor little buggers must have jumped on my truck. my sis has a bunch of tree frogs in lawrence, and we have some in Topeka, but they're closer to shunga creek and we're just far enough away that they haven't made it this far yet, and might not since it's too dry.

urban legend is that they came from someone letting something go that they shouldn't have. course, we also have some geckos running around a certain neighborhood courtesy of folks that stole them and some other animals from a local pet shop but they got loose.

We have some geckos around here, too, but I'm pretty sure they're just native.
