Hi there son. Just got back from Los Angeles and Conchord and we had a fantastic time. We so much wanted to come to Musecon this year but we have definitely penciled it in for next year. Sorry we didn't get time to hang out at Duckon as we were pretty busy and stressed. Would have been nice to go to a music store again as well (hope Sue doesn't read this :-( See you at OVFF and I will bringa along Ricky!
We can spend time with all of you this time :-)
Hugs,
Dad

It sounds like it was wonderful. Conchord is definitely on our list of cons to get to.

Yeah, Duckon was pretty stressful all around. I came *into* the con with 4 hours of sleep, and had to disappear both Friday and Saturday for naps just to get thru the weekend.

*Very* definitely looking forward to OVFF *hugs*hugs* we need to find out where the stores are in Columbus *evil grin*

Not a guitar store, but Columbus Percussion Center _rocks_. A most excellent store. Sally and I will be making a pilgrimage at some point during OVFF.

What's the deadline for signing up?

Also, I'm considering whether I could afford some small part of a room. If anyone's interested in sharing, you're welcome to contact me.

The gift for using the code is good thru the 25th. I'll make sure at the concom meeting today, but I believe that the pre-reg rate is good until the con starts.

So this is the first year of the convention? the 0 has me all thrown off. But it does look like fun.

Consider MuseCon 0 the 'builders trials', where we shake down the infrastructure to see what still needs to be adjusted a bit, and see if we can interest people in helping out with programming in the future. Financial constraints means we're starting out a bit small (no art show or dealers room this year, as the large function rooms were a bit beyond our means this first time out), but there will still be great programming (Gundo has a wicked music track planned, and there will be build-a-blinkie sessions and lots of other interactive things to do and learn).

Man, I wish I could make it. But it conflicts with Minnesota Fringe Festival and I already have commitments.
