in other news, the movie does not sound as much troll-ish as it seemed from the first spoilers that came out.
ps. Feldt returns to bridge. She was asked why she didn't go with Setsuna, she says Setsuna heart was much bigger and a greater destiny and she had to let him go (aka she got dumped.)
Kinda weird... aliens. The hell? Just the summary was a total mindrape, already scared to say anything about the movie >.>
Actually I felt more sorry for Setsuna than Marina who grew old, because he kinda... technically he abandoned his life as a human. I mean, in Gundam it's not bad, but still it's kinda sad.
All in all, I don't want to see the epilogue. It's like, talking about 50 years later... I just want to know everyone's happy and all, I don't want to see them all old, blind, etc...
Dunno, kinda mixed feelings about the movie... Honestly speaking, I was expecting something more fascinating than aliens.
so in the end, Setsuna is into Marina from the start ~LOL~ this one is off. because I thought Setsuna is in love with Gundam itself. It becomes irrelevant when love is involved for Setsuna though. But then again, I thought the promise might not be love. Like it's to fulfill his promise to see her when the world is at peace.
Actually, if you read Kouga Yun's manga prelude to the movie, you see that Marina asks Setsuna to promise her two things. One is to be happy wherever he goes, and the second one is 'because she'll always be here (in Azadistan), please come back to this country one day'.
So I'm pretty sure this is a promise he talks to her at the end of the movie
I don't know either. But I find it very sweet! This person on animesuki forum mentioned the hug scene between them was very touching and Setsuna said "Sorry, I took so long". And I was like O///O!!!
