If people want to throw in for a paid layout I'm certainly fine with that. I'll throw in as well. I don't really ever notice ads though, since I always view it through my friendlist.
We mods have been plotting a profile layout contest, and we could probably incorporate a main page layout contest in there as well. I've got some mangas that I'm willing to donate as a prize. We will hopefully get the contest up and running in the new year. Sorry it has been slow, all of us have been busy with the holidays and life in general (I personally just moved...WORST TIME OF YEAR FOR IT.)
I check this comm like 10 times a day, and I'm not always signed in, so sometimes I have to actually click THROUGH ads before I can even look at the content.
I can PP you some money for the paid account. Just give me your addie. I was going to offer manga as prices for a new layout, too, but there goes that. The lite novel should be out soon and I was going to grab an extra copy.
wtfffff Yea, definitely worst time to move. How's the weather where you are? It's bad here, so moving would be ten times worse.

The move thing came up SUPER sudden for us, though thankfully we moved the week before the big snow storm. Sad to say by the time it was over I was not in the mood for the holidays. It was for the best though, we now have more room and a full sized fridge yay!
While I'm making an off topic comment here, I just wanted to mention that we are actually still in need of an Alle on that Descent game. I was sad I never got to play with you, if you have the time for it, stop on by! We've been having a blast! (Though I was bad this week and fell behind on my posts ORZ)

I'm also just waiting to see if anything else will come up, since my online time will be sporadic this weekend, and I may not be able to update the top post if we get any major new info.
Actually, community with paid account is more of selecting their choice of layout. If you're uploading your own header pic, there isn't a need. Recently, I didn't renew my comm membership because I found it's not much a difference and also the custom layout still there, just less userpics. But userpics from comm also doesn't of any use to me since I use my own userpic. ^^ And my another comm started off with basic, not much of a problem with custom layout or just previously with pic. Hope it helps. ^o^
