Otakon, Cosplay image dump and...um...hentai doujin?

So, first off, with Otakon coming up in less than a week, I'm completely pumped for some Gundam 00 cosplay! For those of you attending, there are two Gundam (all series, though I expect Gundam 00 will be the vast majority) photoshoots - 3:30 on Friday, 5:30 on Saturday, both by the indoor fountains. I would also be game for organizing a community/

Honestly, something is wrong with me today. I deleted my previous comment due to my accidental clicking of the post button. Anyway, if you have that, keep the first paragraph.

As I was saying (and hopefully my pinky won't land on the Post button), it's good you and your fiancé have a blast making the costumes. As you already know, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown making my son's Agito Wanijima costume (and, one of the orange straps on his pants already got frayed from people stepping on it during AX).

Sure, interested in a comm meet up. As long as there is no conflict (anyway, I don't even know the sked, so I can't say), I'm fine with it.

I'm a bit frustrated at a few of the construction points (making the bias tape and sewing it on was a lot more annoying than I thought it would be.) I hope to get some more flattering pictures not under a glaring flash due to night fall. Over all, while I know it isn't perfect, I am happy with it, and agree it is important to capture the essence and attitude of the character! Hopefully I did that with her, as I love her dearly

It is also frustrating when you encounter snotty or elitist cosplay fans who down you for not being a professional seamstress/looking like a perfect model. Well, based on my experience at AX, I have something for the snotty or elitist types who expect 100% compliance with the reference. During the Mizushima/Kuroda autograph session on Sunday, I got priority for the autographs because I still had my ticket (I thought they would not honor the ticket, but when an AX staffmember showed hers, I thought I'd show mine as well, so they pulled me out of the main line and escorted both of us [the AX staffmember and me] inside the Registration Hall
