but this happens for every series anyways, they focus so much on the main chars first because well even the audiences would prefer getting to know the main characters first, then the rest later.

Setsuna is secretly a fraggle, after the failure of fraggle rock Setsuna decided he needed a new gimmick to be famous, after seeing G Gundam he decided he wanted to be a giant robot and hence is trying to copy Domon and get his face replacing Exia's face plate.
