The anniversary date was good.  We went to Spankies for the first time ever.  Service was non-existant.   Food was OK.  Then because it was too late for the first showing of Beowulf we wanted to see, we went ahead to Baskin Robbins and had some ice cream and played some DS.  then we went to the movie.  Cool little sunglasses looking things to see ( Read more... )

if you don't need anything, don't buy anything. sure, you could save 20% on something you don't need. or you could keep that 80% in your pocket and be better off because of it.

That seems like the general consensus. Normally I'm all about only using coupons if you were going to buy the item anyway. there's just something about receiving a Christmas Bonus and not using it that just sits weird with me.

it's hardly a bonus though
if it was a 10% off cupon for a whole purchace, or one item at another store, or even let it be usable online, it might be decent, but as it stands now its 10% off 1 item carried by a local store. for it to be worth anything you'd like the item to be at least $200 but your choices in that price range are slim, and then what you can afford comes into play...
wal-mart hands this ''bonus'' out knowing all of this, and proboably assumes 60% never get used, and 30% end up getting redeemed for less than $10
