[not fic] public service announcement: locked fics
ok, here's the deal. i've written something for a new rpf fandom: starcraft 2. i haven't posted it yet, but when i do, i will be locking it to this community for one really, really simple reason: these professional players that i am writing about lurk the internet. a lot of them speak english. i really don't want them to find this.
to read it (and anything else i plan to write for this fandom), you'll have to join my comm. i'm really sorry about that, and i'm not expecting anyone to mind because i'm not crossposting this anywhere and i don't intend on sharing this link outside my immediate circle of friends and regular readers, but there you have it.
about joining: membership is open. you can flit in and out as you please, use an empty journal, whatever. i figure that EG.idrA and EG.huk don't have livejournal accounts and don't care enough to find this stupid community, but if i ever discover that they have access to this or that someone is reposting portions of it, i'll take it down or lock it. please respect that and never repost any locked material. if you would like to link to it, please direct people to join my community.
rpf is weird. there are serious boundaries i want to respect in regard to real person slash fic, and while i'm pretty confident that korean idols don't have time to troll the internet for fanfiction written in a language most of them don't speak, progamers spend a lot of time on the internet, it seems. and some of the most famous ones are from english speaking countries. i don't want anyone to mistake the characters i am writing for as having anything to do with the people they're very very loosely based off of (for more of a disclaimer regarding my rpf writing, please see my fic masterlist).
so this is a line, and i am drawing it. feel free to ignore this post or ask me any questions you'd like below. i'm open to having a discussion about this. anonymous commenting is enabled, but please don't take advantage of that to harass me.
