The best part of many movies, operas, musical theatre, etc. is the Villain Song. If the villain is at all important, they'll get a show-stopping scene where they sing about how awful, evil, and nasty they are and how they'll get what they want. "Professional Pirate" from Muppet Treasure Island
"Ganondorf's Theme" from every Zelda game ever
"Oogie Boogie's Song" from The Nightmare Before Christmas
"On the Rise" or "Everyone's a Hero" from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, depending on who you qualify as the "villain"

And yaaaay Friends on the Other Side :D I want Jazz Choir to sing it. So much.

I was torn between "Professional Pirate" & Shiver My Timbers. He's even Genre Savvy in it ;-)

"Oogie Boogie's Song" was a good one, though he's a late-show villain.

A fun one about the Villain, though only sung a bit by the villain himself is The Phony King of England from Disney's animated Robin Hood. Great entry, do you have a suggested listening order / playlist?

Don't have a suggested order at the moment, but I might have to put one together for my iPhone ;-)

"The Phony King of England"

"Toxic Love" sung by Hexxus (Tim Curry.. AGAIN) in Fern Gully. Ive been known to break out into it, when the mood strikes.

"...raining down like egg chow mein..."

Another I considered: "I Put a Spell on You" from Hocus Pocus. The primary reason I left it out was that I couldn't find a video of the actual scene to link, just the soundtrack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvBF98m3ACY

I thought of Be Prepared after we were talking :) but I forgot to mention it.

I think it's funny that I'm the musical nut and you have songs on here from musicals I've never heard of.
