$114 million in three days!

somehow spiderman has become the film with the most successful opening weekend ever! it made $114 million in 3 days. i haven't seen it, and i don't really want to. personally, i think batman was probably better. even more disturbing, the director signed on for a three film contract, so be on the lookout for spiderman 2 and spiderman 3. i ( Read more... )

ren and stimpy definitely h-bomb! although it wouldn't do well with the child movie audience because it'd get a pg 13 or R rating....clinging tenaciously to buttocks isn't children's fare. just as long as there is no a) live action ren and stimpy or b) animated by someone else than the original animator it'd be super.

hope to come to your show at flywheel soon and buy your disc!

as perhaps jon knows spiderman was directed by the one and only sam raimi, the wonderful man who brought us the evil dead trilogy, and if you want a fun movie to go see without being overly philosophical i reccommend spiderman. tobey maguire was cast well as the always insecure parker and aside from the feel of a mighty morphin power rangers film, with some cheesy dialougue, there is a clever scrpt. there is also an appearance by bruce campbell, and jim norton (for all of those that may listen to opie and anthony), look out for stan lee too. it's almost as good as the first batman, with more promising sequels. yet i think they could have gotten away with playing the ramones version of spiderman, with joey being dead and all. i also reccomend jason x for any horror/friday the 13th fan. it was made for less then starwars, all shot on digital video, and technically it's brilliant. with some really hot chicks and a very clever screen play...it's fun for anyone who wants to get that sort of emotion out of a film, instead of perhaps those ( ... )

Interested in having ANOTHER rock band?
I need to get back into the swing of things because not being able to play music in sucha long time is taking its toll on me. We have very similar musical interests as you can see by my profile . What do you think?
