Izzy was so bummed by the time her advisory meeting was over that she went home and crawled in bed, skipping supper all together. When she woke up she realized Sam should be finishing practice soon and hopefully he'd stop by for a beer or maybe a bite to eat.

She grabbed her cell and called him to see if he was around.

[guitaraway]

Sam was so angry and distracted that he didn't look at the caller ID before he answered. "Hey?" he said abruptly into the reciever.

[mousedetective]

Izzy hesitated for a second before speaking. "Wow, who peed in your cornflakes, Sam? You sound royally pissed."

[guitaraway]

"Hey Iz," Sam said, happy to hear from his friend. "Carter and I got into it again, sorry about that. What's going on?"

He had waited till they were in the run down apartment. Once he could hear their laughter, he moved closer to the door, smiling at the sounds of joy and mirth that these two were. Sounds he had thought would never bring any warmth in his soul again. Yet here he was, smiling along with them.

Silently bending down, he placed the ice bucket with the chilled champange down next to the door. He made sure the house warming note was attached, then knocked softly. He was out of sight before the door opened and the two confused young people looked out.

((ooc---forgive Matthew...he has been watching Sam and Izzy for a while now and just believes they are two young people who he would eventually like to meet.))

ooc--Matthew says anything you want. He expects nothing from anyone he finds interesting. There is a note from Matthew's Mun on his journal explaining why Matthew does what he does.

ooc- cool! i wasn't ignoring him I just wasn't sure how to react. Sam is just like, sweet free booze!

OOC--Matt loves to listen to Sam when he plays and is in the clubs often. However he doesn't like Sam's bandmates and wishes he could help Sam find people that would actually showcase his talents. He'll probably say something to Sam and/or Izzy soon.
