J signed the first contract paperwork this morning.  We are awaiting a call back from the mortgage lender to make an appointment to sign the loan paperwork.  At this rate, we are looking to be in place by mid-December~

I should probably clarify my statement.

We got approved on our offer.  We still have to apply for the loan, get the inspection done and sign final paperwork.  However, the first step is a huge one, in my opinion!

Sometimes, when working with a child who just fights learning or seems to now be picking up things, I get discouraged about tutoring.  You know, am I doing any good, am I wasting their time, etc.  This morning, I got a call that reminded me why I do this.
