My piggie Pip is 8 and has dropped a lot of weight. Her back legs aren't working, and she won't eat. We've been in and out of the vet's office- is it an ear infection? back pain?, and I finally noticed that her lower incisors were splayed out. (And that seemed to explain why she would try to eat and then drop the food. I've been feeding her by hand

Definitely keep hand-feeding her and weighing her everyday until she's able to maintain/increase her weight by herself. Are her lower incisors still splayed even when short?

I'd recommend trying to find a specialist vet as that's really the kind of thing a vet should have spotted immediately. Sadly normal vet textbooks don't carry a lot of information on guinea pigs so finding the right vet is a must.
