bumble foot... i think

So my old girl Minerva has what i assume is bumblefoot. Her front foot is swollen but doesnt seem to be hurting her and isn't weeping or anything like that. Before I have to pay another vet bill (up to a total $2000 this year) does anyone have any hints? I've been cleaning it daily with betadine. Bubmblefoot (or any foot swelling) absolutely needs antibiotics asap - otherwise the infection can get into the bone which is fatal. It can also happen very quickly, so speedy treatment is a must.

Treatment can take a few weeks but a complete recovery is very likely if antibiotics and daily soakings are followed. If she is prone to laying in her own pee, I'd suggest maybe trying vetbed rather than fleece as it's much more hygenic for older or messy pigs (it's what I use and used when I had elderly (6 years old +) piggies :)
