Thanks everyone for your kind words regarding little Sarah last week...

Brenda and I were talking after her passing, and we think that the best way to deal with the loss of a little friend is to fill that hole with another. There's so many piggies out there in need of a good home, it's selfish to just think of the past and what might-have-been.

Congratulations! After quarantine, you don't need to wait to do introductions - many people house babies and adults together but take the babies out for their own floor time to stock up on alfalfa pellets and hay. It makes intros go more smoothly, and will be a nice distraction for your grieving pigs. After quarantine in different rooms of course!

We did the same years ago when we went from two pigs to four by adding two adopted babies. It really brought everyone's energy levels right up :)
