We adopted our precious little man from friends of ours. He lives on his own at the moment as we've only got a small cage and no room for a bigger one but we hope to move out soon and then he can have as much room as he wants! Though he does love being in his cage. (We're going to get one of those 'cubes and coroplast' type cages and set it up as a ( Read more... )

I looked through the tags for a 'teeth' one, maybe a mod could add a teeth tag?

Well done for looking after Mr Pickles.

He's gorgeous!

He should meet our alpacas, who haven't got any front top teeth ... although that's normal for alpacas.

Thanks :) He is a stunner isn't he?

Do your alpacas have Facebook? Pickles has a page there!

I don't much like Facebook, but the alpacas have a gallery at http://non-human.people.xeny.net/home.html

Gwuh, he's supercute. Glad his teeth got sorted out okay :)

My Owen is on his own at the moment too (has been since June) but he'll be getting a little friend soon. Good luck with finding a friend for Pickles when you move!

xx

They just never thought to get him checked at the vet... really it was our fault for letting them get so long :( but he seemed fine! Eating lots and popcorning... I couldn't tell it was so bad :(

But I'm better with him now... he gets so spoiled by me because I am just so pleased he is alive and healthy!

First of all, you're doing a GREAT job with this guy. He's lucky to have someone that would do all of this for him. PIgs missing their front teeth is unusual, but not unheard of. Our rescue had a pig named Piglet that went through the same thing. Here's her story via blog:
