The second half of this year is looking up already.   G. is taking the kids up to see their grandparents in Ohio in two weeks for a week-wowsers!  I'm clearing the decks and getting out of Dodge.   My thought now is to leave out of here and do a big circle of Civil War sites.  I'm a huge buff, but my father never took me to the battlefields like he

Yay! That sounds like a wonderful get-away, and so...solitary. I would love a 4 day jaunt by myself, looking at something meaningful and quiet. I hope you have a lovely time, and you find what you seek. :)
