So, I am excited because I called my friend Aaron & he told me to bring a jacket so we could go whale watching. That is pretty fucking awesome. I feel like I should bring them a housewarming/ wedding present, but I don't know what to get them & it's very last minute. I am happy to get to see them

Not freaking out is good.

Maybe bring 'em a jar of salsa, perhaps green tomatillo salsa? Or BBQ sauce? Something cheap, easy to get rid of if they don't like it, but thoughtful? Most places with whale-watching don't have great tex-mex or bbq, although they might have good California-style Mexican food.

Or if you go whale watching in Japan, you can eat actual whale while you watch! :(
