ROUND RULES:
» Icons must be made for this challenge, and all work must be your own.
» Your icons CAN include nudity or swearing if you wish (R-Rated stuff is fine here), but please leave a warning at the top of your post so people can steer clear if they want :)
» Icons must fit the livejournal standard. under 40kb, 100x100px and in either .png, .gif or .jpg file format. NO animation allowed.
» When posting the finished 20 please leave 3 icon teasers examples and a link to the icon post or lj-cut.
» Don't submit your icons to this post.
» Your icon post must be unlocked.

» All 20 icons are (tentatively!) due on February 20, 11:59pm. We're not on a strict schedule here, so if you need an extension just ask ;)
YOU CAN USE ANY PHOTOS OF YOUR CELEB THAT YOU WISH TO - whether it be screencaps or stills from a movie or TV show they've been in, any photos of them in any character they've ever played, etc. You don't have to stick to just photo shoots <3
PLEASE TRY TO COMMENT ON EVERYONE'S ENTRIES and leave them positive feedback - it really only takes a few second to tell someone they did a good job :)
ALL THEMES ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO YOUR OWN INTERPRETATION. Have fun and be creative <3
THEMES/PROMPTS
1. Blue Skies: I want to see the sky in your icon. You can find a pic of your celeb outside or add a cloud/sky texture.
2. Red: In honor of St. Valentine's Day, the main color in your icon MUST be red. Of course there can be other colors in the icon itself, as long as the red is dominant.
3. Shadowplay: Your icon must play with shadows, having both light and dark parts. Here are some amazing examples for you to be inspired by:

4. Color Subject on B&W Background: Your celebrity must be in color, and the icon's background must be in black and white.
5. Cheesy Song Lyrics: Pick a cheesy song that you absolutely love! Then make an icon using some of the song's lyrics. You can also use text textures if you're not comfortable with doing your own text/fonts. Examples:

6. LooksLikeRain Texture: Make an icon using one (or more) of the textures from one of these two sets, made by the amazing lookslikrain. You can use the texture whichever way you please; screen it, multiply, invert the colors, as long as the texture is visible.
7. From Behind: Icon a shot of your celeb from behind, displaying their back and/or backside ;)
8. Angelic: This one's totally up to your interpretation :) You can take the theme literally, and make an icon of your celeb with angels wings or a halo. Or it could simply be an 'angelic' pose, such as a sweet smile, eyes closed, etc.

9. Skin: Show me some skin! Have fun with cropping and highlight any body parts you want, as long as bare skin is visible and the focus of the icon.
10. Extremely Small: Your celeb must be merely a blip within the icon; extremely small in comparison to the rest of the background. Some gorgeous examples:

Category Set - Close, Obscure Crops. Every icon in your set must be a close up shot of your subject and be obscurely cropped, meaning that not all of the head/facial features should be visible. Here are some of my favorites for you to gather inspiration from:
