Send me your favourite artist/album at the moment.

I need something to listen to. I've listened the fuck out of Lento, Ministry and Ufomammut lately.

Also just discovered Bain Wolfkind - lounge/surf - why have I never heard them before?

Bain is pretty weird and wonderful...they supported Death in June in Sydney a while back. I am listening to loads of Ladytron at the moment, but I have a real, serious hankering for some Trans Am.

I'm diggin' the ladies - never bothered listening to them before. Only prob is the vocals are like a female Placebo. Heard the ex-bass player's stuff yesterday on the radio - can't remember the band name, but I remember I liked it.

I always thought Trans Am were like Fu Manchu...

Pop Levi? He's a dude. His remix of their song "Evil" is kickin.'

The vocal sound can get a bit wearing, but it balances more on the last album.

Trans Am were fantastic live. Bunch of screaming guitars and whirling keys. YEAH.

I can't believe Lux Interior is dead.

Heh one of Rob's current bands is a kind of doom-goth surf band :) (I wonder if you know the other guy, Ben. I bet you do somehow)

I don't mind Grauzone, they're cool - but what is with putting all the tracks up as 30 second previews?! You can listen to the full track on youtube (and probably myspace, although I haven't checked). That's just annoying. Eisbaer is cool.

Malaria were good for something different to what I usually listen to. Loved the minimal stuff.

Neon Judgement were a bit pants. If they've been doing that since the early eighties you'd think they would be better at it than they are.

Ahh yeah, last.fm has moments like that with some bands..
I've downloaded the actual player and then type in the band name so I listen to that band's radio and you get the full songs of which ever bands come up... much more satisfying!

Yeah Malaria are great, I've made friends with a bunch of cool peeps here that are Minimal wave/future wave/cold wave obsessed and they all run club nights, while dressing superbly, it's fucking COOL!

Not every Neon song is particularly hot stuff so I agree with you there, I only like tracks such as: TV Treated.

Go check out the player on this page: myspace.com/minimalwave
there are a lot of different songs, you won't like all but there may be some that tickle your fancy

:)
