Everyone is allowed to be happy, but no one is guaranteed happiness for any length of time. It isn't easy being happy. It isn't as easy as one would think, but it is possible for everyone for at least a little while.

You pick yourself up. You endure. Even past this, there will be chance for happiness again. And it will be worth everything you suffered to get to that point.

I know that doesn't help you feel any better now, but it's the truth.

It just sucks. Also it's the second girlfriend in as many years that has just disappeared. I feel like I must be some sort of curse. "Date Mat and you'll end up disappearing into the nether..."
