Do you like steampunk? Because if you do, I'd recommend Gail Carriger. She has one series, the Parasol Protectorate (romance), and is starting a second in the same world, The Finishing School (Young Adult). Regency Steampunk with vampires and werewolves and consistency.

Haven't tried much steampunk, but that sounds interesting. I'll check her out.
