I've been thinking about doing this for a while now, but I thought I should really get out there and finally do it! The monsters in the forest are some of the most dangerous of the city, and it's a problem when new arrivals end up either in the forest or near it. Sure! It shouldn't be too bad as long as I'm careful and keep an eye out. If it gets too bad I'll come back as quickly as possible.

Thank you, I hope I can make a difference as well. Perhaps one day we will no longer need to worry about the monsters.

Wonderful! We can meet up Friday morning and organize what we might need. Does that sound good?

Or, maybe we should think about supplies more ahead of time. And if Haruhi keeps insisting on going....

Probably better off on organizing now so we know what to bring. Not to mention, we'll be camping out there.

That's true. We'll need some food, probably some blankets as well. Though, the bare minimum might be best, less to carry around, and we can use what's in the forest to help supplement it. At least for tools, I don't think there's much to eat in there.

Don't worry, if anything bad happens I'll come back right away, and if I get hurt I'll see the doctor. I don't plan on dying again any time soon.

Do you know the repopulation rate of the monsters in the area? It will be far more worthwhile to target those which will stay gone, relatively speaking.

I'm not sure, I do know that one of the monster populations did go extinct several months ago. But that's the only situation I know of. Sometimes we won't see a monster for a while, and then they'll come back with a vengeance.

Which monster went extinct?

If you could, perhaps, collect more data on the forest monsters -- their numbers, appearance, behavioral patterns... the best targets may then be found.

It was a strange dog creature that was dead and rotting.

I'll observe them as best I can, and compile my observations into a post when I get back if you like.
