Now that things are starting to settle a bit, we should probably take note of what hasn't been restored and what needs work. A lot of things need work though.... Especially with winter right around the corner. Hopefully it won't be as bad as last winter but it's always good to be prepared ( Read more... )

Where, exactly, are you summoning it from?

You know... someone else asked me this a few days ago. I think I just told them "the air" for simplicities sake.

But really it's a magical conversion of the energy around me and my own ability. But don't worry, even calling forth a lot of water won't make deplete that much energy.

I was more asking if your summoning was anything like my own. My beasts DO come from somewhere... nowhere you wish to be, I assure you.

Elements are simply formed. But when if I were to summon a creature it comes from elsewhere, usually depending on the type of magic the summoned beast requires.

Like bloody death eater, it's a hell beast! It swallows it's victims and sends it to the depths of hell. And most holy magic summons power from Heaven, some of the most advanced spells can even summon forth our goddess. Though, that's more my mother's place, and my sister's than mine.

Really it all just depends on the spell and the discipline... I've seen lots of different spells use different sources for how they do what they do.

All magic is convenient, depending on the kinds you know. I just really love learning magic, so I've studied a bunch of different kinds.

What kinds of magic do you know?

It's amazing if even half of that was self-taught. Learning magic always seems so much harder without a proper teacher.

At least that's how it was for me. I was grateful for what I was able to learn from the Seraph.

Oh... lots! I know some ancient spells, and of course modern ones. I've always tried to find new and different ones to study.

I went to the same school my mother went to. I just graduated really young. After that I did a lot of self study.

I'm always glad to take on new teachers if they will have me. Though, mostly I was teaching others.
