You know, being wanted is a really, really good feeling.  I know we all know that, but it's nice to have it affirmed from time to time.

It'd be a promotion and a 5% raise from what I'm currently getting. It'd...be slower work, but she outright told me that as long as I had my work done they really don't care if I bring a book or something. Mostly because one day I could be BUSY and the next I'm just waiting for something to happen. =\

In any case the promotion and extra money are a great thing. The only reason I'd not get it is because of the hiring freeze the governor put in place beginning of September. I'm already working for the State, but part of the freeze is no promotions, BUT...we have a budget now which is why the freeze was put in place to begin with, so.....

*shrugs* So a lot of it has to do with what Personnel says they can get away with. *crosses fingers*
