I'm at work though my termination date is slated for tomorrow if the requisition Candace sent out to make me a permanent employee doesn't go through ( Read more... )

I'll make sure and watch it. I haven't seen anything about Terrebonne Parish which pisses me off. you know if your family needs anything you can call my parents 868-5590.

The feed went to CNN and FoxNews but I still haven't seen anything O.o; WWL had a tiny, five minute segment about Terrebonne (Dulac actually) and we're pissed off as well - that no one really cares about Terrebonne or Lafourche or anyone down here. And thank you so much. I've got the number. Right now, we almost have all the walls (dry-wall) up. Next is finishing and painting.

Damn Sandy. There is so much devastation going on lately that I at least don't have any words left to say even though I want to help with everything in me. I will be watching tonight, certainly. And if there's anything you need from a friend in Florida, just let me know, k?

I know. It's frickin' disgusting. And I heard this morning they expect about 30 more tropical storms and at least 1 hurricane this season. WTF???? That's it. I'm so moving to Montana and raising sheep. I'd rather deal with the blizzards.

There is nothing to say. Ya mourn, ya rebuild, ya move on. The feed of the forum went to CNN and FoxNews but I still haven't seen anything about it. So, I dunno. Maybe they lied. There were over 2000 people there. So . . .

Thank you! We've been getting so many offers of help. Just knowing someone cares is help in it's greatest form. *hugs*

Oh...can I raise 'em with you? Or maybe would you mind if I had a neighboring farm? Sheep is nice. You don't have to kill them, you can just shore them every so often. Sheep is good. Cold...well...not so good, but I can deal right?

My poor baby... I hope that they don't fire you, though I had known about that prospect of it before I read this, via Tan. By the way, that was kinda fun! ^_^

And yes, bad things do occur in threes, but I think you already got them. Supposedly something really good is supposed to happen after that number three. I will be praying that will be the case with you.

I love ya, and I'm sorry that I can't really be around right now for you to talk to more than just via email. I'll be back next week though! We can burn up the lines with all the hat shopping details then.

*sigh* Too late.

*snicker* That was hilarious XD

Strange that you should say that since I got a call from a prospective employer the very same day Candace filed my termination papers. Unfortunately, they didn't call back today (Monday), but I've seen help wanted ads all over the place.

Love you too and don't be sorry. This is an act of nature (well not the job thing but . . .), we're dealing and we'll be ok. Things could always be a lot worse. *snicker* You'd better tell me all about your hat shopping, Wal-mart terrorizing adventures!
