What exactly am I supposed to learn from this? Crazy people playing dress up exist on the internet and spout nonsense? I knew that already.

I'd like to go point by point and refute what he is saying, but he is so scattered that he doesn't even have bullet points, he has weird hash marks.

The important thing to learn from this nut was learned April 15. The "tea parties" don't even know what they are against. Are they against immigration? Out of control Spending? Term limits? Pick a topic and you to can hate!

Fortunately the loud minority that they are is slipping further and further into the minority. Unfortunately one nut like this guy can shoot up a church, or bomb a building. We've seen it happen, now there are people INCITING it in the name of patriotism.

Second REVOLUTION indeed. Sedition is one of the few constitutionally listed crimes. Yet whacko right-wingers are spouting sedition like its going out of style.

Sorry but I think his message was that american people complain about all of these things (Imigration, taxes, drugs) but then do nothing about it, and sit by blindly when we could stand up and do something about it (Vote out congressmen, get rid of electoral college, actually do something)

Too many people just sit by, judge people, say all these things... And do NOTHING... but if you remember those trash commercials where people stood around the liter and griped about it, then someone came through, picked it up and threw away (it was maybe 5 feet from the can) that is what I think he is trying to get across.. that was he message.. get up, go do something instead of just judging and griping... I mean really look at what the original tea party did...

Well, that is a message I can get behind.

But see, I think the American people DID do something. They threw out republicans in record numbers. They voted a black man into office. Heck, Obama got a certain percentage of the KLAN vote.

Can they do more? yes. I think more will be required to fix the mess we are in. I would love to see more "Ask not what your country can do for you attitude."

Why would we want to get rid of the electoral college? Do you just WANT to completely marginalize small population states? If the best I can pick up by visiting Topeka,Kansas is 100,000 votes, or I can go to Los Angeles, California and get 1,000,000 votes, where do you think I am going to spend my time and money.

As long as we are doing away with the electoral college, lets get rid of giving every podunk state a congressman if they don't meet the population requirements.

It should be about states anymore... it should be a all for one and one for all where each american vote counts.. right now it doesn't... that was proven when Bush was elected... the popular majority voted in Alexander, the college elected Bush... not to say either has it point, cause there are good points both ways as you just pointed out.. but this is how I feel.

I would love to see more "Ask not what your country can do for you attitude."
