Well...do you WANT to meet new people? If so, I'm sure there are environments without booze or people trying to get lucky to do so (like you mentioned - book club?)

Not really, which is beyond her comprehension.

The point was that its hard to find things for people our age where the predominant idea isn't the hook up, which for some reason is our generations "thing"
