... need to travel to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, you better avoid La Sierra Hotel. A certain Rommel Galindo acts like a factotum there; this fellow cannot receive a complaint without a rude answer sparkled with a selection of gross words. To add insult to injury, the guy arrogantly demands that you, the offended party, solve out the issue.

Hmmm. While I don't ordinarily have much sympathy for obnoxious characters, because in general nobody's actually obliged to behave like a gratuitous jerk, I do tend to think that it must be almost impossible for anyone whose parents saddled him with a name like Rommel to fail to develop a somewhat dysfunctional personality.

I wonder if he has a brother named Goering... or worse. :S

The problem being that Rommel was a hero who died a martyr in the July 20 conspiracy, and Goering was a criminal who committed suicide rather than pay the penalty for his crimes.

That's right... Rommel is mentioned as an exception in the Nazi regime. His reputation, however, is tinted because of the majority.

Oh boy. A caudillo with no prospects because the caudillo market is already so clogged. I really do feel for you.

It's clogged, yes, especially in these surroundings. We still have to see how this ends (if it does).
