You know, not for nothing but...I really did like this episode. I know people are freaking out but...Peter was awesome, and the rest has a lot of potential for interesting storylines.

I guess I'll have to watch it to form my own opinion, but there's a reason why I've never watched a novela with this kind of plotline. I just don't like it, even on a novela level. And it feels really, really wrong to me. Way too novelaish. And I'm tired of them bringing people back from the dead, ie. Tracy. as much as I like her, that looked pretty final.

For what it's worth, I also really enjoyed tonight's Heroes. It was very well-done and the set up is extremely interesting. (And I am a very big Nathan fan-- as angry as he makes me sometimes, he's always been one of my favorites.) I also really like Sylar, and I've been wishing him to die for most of this volume. But I'm actually satisfied with how they handled it.

Now that I've actually seen the episode, I liked most of it but Sylar as Nathan really creeps me out. I got a shiver in my stomach. Seeing him put his arm over over Angela's shoulder made me squirm. And I am so not squeamish at all. I wasn't expecting that. I guess I do see the potential for drama, but I'm still not okay with it. Not unless Sylar gets found out in like episode two of next season, because seriously creepy. I don't even get why I'm so creeped out.

But what really got to me even before watching it was how it's going to affect Peter when he finds out. His brother is dead. I've been so looking forward to a reconciliation, but every time we get close to one it gets snatched away, which would happen since that's one of the dynamics of the show, but now it's gone. I can't help but feel cheated about that.

Okay, you got me at the "mindfuck". I always love me a good mindfuck cause I have that kind of twisted sense of humour and your existential argument is really compelling. But I'm not sure the writers are willing to let go of Zaquary even at the end of the season with the huge fanbase he's got. Then again, they didn't care about keeping us Adam fans happy and it cost them. But that's not really related to plot, is it? I just don't know if I can get past the creeped out to believe this as Nathan. If it were someone other Sylar, I could handle it loads better.

I just feel so bad for Peter, because I don't see how he could accept this at all.

Sexy and amazing! I love how Claude's love for Peter shows through. It's easy to portray him as being standoffish (because that's how he acts), but seeing him emotionally attached and affectionate is great. Wonderful job!
