I cannot believe how nice it is outside

It's 40°F and sunny. In January. It is actually sunny in January without snow being on the ground. All we've seen of snow is a couple of sprinklings and that's it. Tomorrow the high is 46°. I know it's all going to go the way of Dante's Hell eventually, but just having this amount of beautiful warmth up to this point makes this the best IL winter

Sorry! Well, yesterday it was 22°, I think. It really is the weirdest January weather. We're supposed to not see the sun for more than a day per week by this point.

It doesn't help that it's really cold in my office and at home too, but I have been strongly discouraged from touching the thermostat, so.

Yikes! That really sucks. At my house, it's the opposite. I'm in charge of the thermostat, because if it were up to my grandfather and my cousin, we would all broil to death.
