I finally saw the new Pride and Prejudice today at the dollar theater. I'm not sure if I like it better than the BBC version. But I do know that I liked it well enough that I don't feel compelled to put 5 hours into the Colin Firth version anytime soon.

just saw that movie with my little sister at the discount theater myself...and we both decided that we want Mr. Darcy, basically because Mr. Bingley is too boring. He reminded me of a puppy dog...very sweet. If I ever got a puppy dog, I'm name him Mr. Bingley. And unfortunately, now I think that this means that I have to read the book, after holding out for all these years...although that was mostly to spite my mother, not for any good reason. ;)
